Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America
Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America serves the 2.2 million service members that have deployed since 2001. They address issues such as physical disabilities, mental health, suicide and unemployment.
The Center for Veterans Issues serves men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces who find themselves in need after returning to civilian life. They do this by providing housing, reintegration services, and other programs.
Disabled Veterans National Foundation
The Disabled Veterans National Foundation works to change the lives of men and women who come home wounded or ill after serving overseas. Its highest priority is to eliminate homelessness among America’s military veterans.
Operation Veterans Encouraging Recovery
Operation Veterans Encouraging Recovery was formed by a group of veterans to help service members in crisis or transition. They provide case management, access to food and clothing, educational and vocational training, medical and mental health care, and more.
The Bob Woodruff Foundation provides resources and support to service members, veterans and their families to assist with successful reintegration into their communities.
