Ever spent a summer afternoon throwing a toy off a dock for your dog to chase? Well, now it’s officially a sport. Dock Diving, also known as Dock Jumping, is quickly growing in the US, and its athletes and their canine companions have even formed an organization known as DockDogs.
This year, DockDogs has added a charitable component to their regional Dock Diving championships, and is raising money to assist members of DockDog communities in need. They help with medical expenses, recovery from natural disasters, veterinary needs, or any other costs related to tragic circumstances. Their mission is to connect grantees and donors to create a network that promotes compassion and support.

The DockDogs Jump-A-ton will be held at each of the four regional championship events across the US and Canada. It’s a fun opportunity for different chapters to compete against one another to see who can raise the most money.
